120 gr zucchero
1/4 cucchiaino sale
70 gr fiocchi di avena*
50 gr noci tritate*
100 gr burro freddo a pezzetti
8 mele Granny Smith e Fuji
100 gr zucchero

APPLE CRUMBLE by Laurel Evans
For the crumble:
100 gr flour
120 gr sugar
1 / 4 teaspoon salt
70 g oat flakes *
50 g chopped walnuts*
100 g cold butter into small pieces
* I have not used it for apple crumble
For apple crumble filling:
8 Granny Smith and Fuji apples
100 gr sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 / 4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 / 4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
1 / 4 teaspoon of clove powder (but not)
Peel apples, cored and cut into slices of 5 mm ( I used ramequins so I diced them). Transfer to a large bowl and mix with sugar, lemon juice, salt and spices.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Grease a baking dish (or ramequin) not too low, pour in the filling of fruit (apples in this case).
In a blender put all the ingredients for the crumble and mix everything at full speed until the mixture is made of medium crumbs.... crumble!
Sprinkle the crumble over the fruit to cover it completely. Bake at 375°F for 30-40 minutes.
( for the apple crumble I used Red Delicious apples and then I baked in ramequins so cooking times were down to 20 minutes!)
