PIG POTATOES

Direi che il nome di queste patate dica già tutto. Sono una "porcatona" pazzesca , di una semplicità unica che vi risolllevano il morale perchè sono cremose, confortevoli e gustose .... Buona giornata a tutti , un abbraccio grande, 



PIG POTATOES

500 gr patate tagliate a rondelle sottili
1 bicchiere di panna fresca
100 gr circa di Parmigiano Reggiano grattugiato
Pan grattato
sale e pepe
burro


Imburrate e impanate una pirofilina da forno, fate un primo strato di patate e condite con qualche fiocchetto di burro, sale, pepe, Parmigiano Reggiano e pangrattato e proseguite a fare gli strati nello stesso modo fino ad esaurimento.... l'ultimo strato arricchitelo bene e poi versate la panna .
Infornate a forno già caldo a 180° per 40 minuti circa. Servite e ...godete.

PIG POTATOES

500 g potatoes, cut into thin rounds
1 cup heavy cream
¾ grated Parmigiano Reggiano
breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper
butter


butter and bread a  baking pan, take a first layer of potatoes and flavored with some butter, salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs and continue to make the layers in the same way until  . the last layer and pour cream .
Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 40 minutes. Serve ...and enjoy.

TORTA FRANGIPANE ALLE ROSA CON PASTA FROLLA ROSA- Pink Pastry dough and Frangipane roses cake

Io vi avevo avvisato che mi è venuta la Frangipanemania..e questa è solo la mia seconda idea per l’MT challenge di Aprile. A breve, per la gioia delle “giudicesse” Ale e Dani con Ambra, vi proporrò anche la mia terza versione di questo dolce che sta riscuotendo grandi consensi anche tra chi non ama particolarmente le mandorle , anzi direi che si stanno proprio ricredendo in molti.
Questa torta di oggi non credo sia tanto originale nel sapore , ma di sicuro lo è nel colore della frolla… come sapete ultimamente mi sto divertendo molto con la pasta di zucchero e quest’estate a Los Angeles , col dollaro favorevole e i prezzi comunque convenienti ho fatto il pieno di tanti attrezzini da cucina, ingredienti e prodotti Wilton, tra cui ovviamente i colori in pasta J , ne basta la punta di uno stuzzicadenti per ottenere degli splendidi colori .

FRANGIPANE ALLE ROSE  E PASTA FROLLA ROSA
Per la frolla:
500 gr farina 00
3 uova intere
200 gr zucchero
200 gr strutto

1 punta di colorante rosa(PINK)  in pasta di Wilton


Preparate la frolla  mescolando la farina , le uova, lo zucchero e lo strutto. Fate un impasto senza lavorarlo troppo. Distendete la frolla e rivestite una teglia (preferibilmente con fondo amovibile)e mettete a riposare il frigo circa mezz’ora.  Bucherellate il fondo con i rebbi di una forchetta , o con uno spiedino di legno e sistemateci sopra un foglio di carta forno con dei fagioli ( o ceci o riso) da coprire tutta la superficie della tortiera. Infornate a 180° per circa 10 minuti, quindi rimuovete i fagioli e la carta e infornare nuovamente per altri 5 minuti circa.






Per la Frangipane (ricetta di Ambra)
Per la crema frangipane:
- 100g di farina di mandorle (o mandorle pelate)
- 100g di burro appena ammorbidito
- 100g di zucchero semolato
- 1 uovo
- 30g di fecola di patate/maizena
1 cucchiaio di sciroppo di rose

Montate il burro con lo zucchero fino ad ottenere una crema spumosa, aggiungete l'uovo leggermente sbattuto sempre lavorando con lo sbattitore, incorporate la farina di mandorle (o le mandorle precedentemente tritate finemente nel mixer con un paio di cucchiai di zucchero) poco per volta e la fecola (o maizena), continuando a montare.


Confettura di petali di rosa
Mandorle e boccioli di rosa essiccati per la decorazione
Stendete la confettura di petali di rosa  sulla frolla e poi coprite con la Frangipane e decorate con le mandorle ed infornate a 180° per circa 20-30 minuti o fino a che la superficie della torta non sarà ben dorata. Lasciate raffreddare e sformate dalla teglia e servite anche il giorno successivo decorando con i boccioli essiccati di rosa .

I told you to stay tuned about my ideas about Frangipane and this is my second Frangipane cake…. This time I used rose flower petals jam …it’s so sweet and perfect for tea time. My other funny idea for this cake was to color the pastry dough and I got a fine rose cake. I hope you enjoy with this cake ..have a wonderful new week, xoxoxoxoxo

ROSE FRANGIPANE CAKE WITH PINK PSTRY DOUGH


 Pastry dough
3 Tbsp dried strawberries cut into chunks
For the pastry:

2 cups all purpose
  flour 
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup shortening 
1 pinch Pink Wilton edible color in paste

Prepare the pastry by mixing flour, eggs, sugar and shortening. Do not knead dough too much and mix pink color. Lay the pastry and covered the pan and put half an hour into the fridge.
 Prick the bottom with the tines of a fork and put above a sheet of parchment paper with the beans (or chickpeas or rice) to cover the entire surface of the pan. Bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes, then remove the beans and paper and bake again for another 5minutes.


For the frangipane cream:

1 cup all purpose ground almonds (or almonds)
1 stick  butter softened
½ cup caster sugar
1  egg
2 Tbsp potato starch / corn flour
1 tablespoon rose flower syrup

Whip butter with sugar until creamy , add the lightly beaten egg and syrup of rose syrup always working with the whisk, stir in the almond flour (or finely chopped almonds in a blender with a couple of tablespoons of sugar), and little by little starch (or cornstarch), continuing to whip.

Spread the rose flowers  jam on the pastry and then cover with frangipane and decorated with  almonds and bake at 350°F for 20-30 minutes or until the top of the cake will be golden brown. Let cool and misshapen from the pan ,let it cool and  before serving decorate the cake with dried rose blossom

TORTA FRANGIPANE CON PASTA FROLLA ALLE FRAGOLE DISIDRATATE - fRANGIPANE AND DRIED STRAWBERRIES PASTRY DOUGH

Non avrei mai immaginato che la sfida dell’MTC di aprile mi sarebbe piaciuta così tanto… ma così tanto che ne ho già pronta una seconda versione e sarei in procinto di farne anche una terza J .
Dire che da oggi , giorno di inizio dell’MTC al 28 Aprile sarà un delirio di Frangipane .
La colpa come al solito è si Ale eDani e della vincitrice di Marzo  Ambra … se loro non sceglievano di proporre un dolce così buono e anche così semplice da eseguire forse , dico forse non correrebbero il rischio di ricevere una valanga di ricette come credo si rovescerà su di loro J ….a ben chiaro io non centro nulla …. E neanche l’MTC Worldwide Fan Club che ho creato su fb (anzi se siete interessati e siete degli dell’MTC addicted potete farmi richiesta di iscrizione e sarete tutti benvenuti J ).




FRANGIPANE E FROLLA ALLE FRAGOLE DISIDRATATE

Per la frolla:
50 gr fragole essiccate e tagliate a pezzetti
500 gr farina 00
3 uova intere
200 gr zucchero
200 gr strutto
