Buona Pasqua a tutti voi e vi dedico i mie primi “pupi ccu l’ova” o “acceddi ccu l’ova” o quello che volete voi “ccu l’ova” …con l’uovo , tipici dolcetti con l’uovo sodo che in questi giorni riempono le vetrine e i banconi di forni e pasticcerie.
La ricetta me l’ha gentilmente data la mia amica Anna che ringrazio perché è stato un successo.
PUPI CON L’UOVO
(per 5 pezzi)
500 gr di farina00
80 gr di burro
160 gr di zucchero
120 gr di latte
3 tuorli
1 bustina di lievito
½ bustina di vanillina
scorza di un limone
scorza di un’arancia
5 uova sode
Mescolate tutti gli ingredienti insieme e mettete l’impasto a riposare in frigo almeno un paio d’ore ( ma anche tutta la notte ).
Stendete l’impasto su carta forno e fate le forme che preferite (io per la campana e l’ochetta ho fatto il disegno e l’ho ritagliato ) , spennellate con albume poggiate un uovo sodo e “fermatelo” con un po’ di impasto, rifinite con altro albume e decorate con palline e codette di zucchero colorate.
Infornate in forno già caldo a 180° per circa 15 minuti .

" CUDDURUNI" birds with eggs
(for 5 pieces)
2 cups all purpose flour
1 ½ stick butter
¾ cup sugar
½ g of milk
3 egg yolks
1 Tbsp baking powder
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
zest of one lemon
zest of one orange
5 hard-boiled eggs
Mix all ingredients together and place the dough in the fridge for at least a couple of hours (but even overnight).
Roll out the dough on parchment paper and make the shapes you like (for the bell and the little goose I did the drawing and I cut it), brush with egg white and put the boiled egg on it and "stop” it with some dough, decorate with colored sugar balls or “tails”.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
